The Color of Goo!

I'm sick. Yay me.
I thought it was allergies kicking my ass, but I am now coughing up the good stuff.

The powers that be have started a campaign of redcorating at work and have chosen a rather nasty beige-ish, greenish, off-white-ish color for most of the buildings interior. I don't like it... not one bit and now I know why. It is the same color of the gunk I am coughing up. Pretty, eh?

I know this color on a subconcious level and it rears it's ugly head in my chest almost every spring and fall. I remember being sick the week or so before Kenny & Carol's wedding a few years back and having to perform my maid of honor duties whilst medicated to the hilt. Here's hoping this latest bout won't come to that point.

I feel like crap today.
Between lack of sleep, allergies and the floor being polyurithaned at work I feel like ass. Polyuri-fumes are terrible! I feel crappy and whiney.... so there! WAH!!!!! I thought I was coming down with something but I think it may just be allergies. I want a blankie and a cookie, STAT!

The Beauty of Birdsong?

I want to know what the hell kind of birds sing and chirp and screech all night long and how can I kill them.

There's a tree full of them close enough to our house to be heard through the walls. Between those fucking birds, it being rather warm out and spring allergies finally hitting me with a sledgehammer I don't think I slept more than an hour last night.

Fucking birds.

I have no idea what to write about tonight. I got nuthin'.

The weather was nice today... just right even. Nothing notable happened today and that's sometimes a good thing. I got alot done this morning, and yesterday morning as well. Sometimes I lead a very boring life... but I like it that way.

Interesting Time Waster

THIS is an interesting experiment in marketing. Type in the first thing that pops into your head when you see a corporate logo... after a while take a break and see what other people have typed in.

The bigger the word, the more it was typed in by people. It's interesting to see what people really think of different companies and to see if your thoughts are similiar. Starbucks was particularly entertaining.

The Canadian's Are Coming!!!

We are being invaded by some of our Canadian relatives this afternoon! Specifically, Ron's fathers cousin's from Prince Edward Island. We haven't seen them in who know's how long... at least ten years, and Ron's parents haven't seen them in 2-3 years. This should be fun.

I'll be taking lots of photo's which I'll probably get posted sometime this century, but I wouldn't hold your breath or anything. Someday I may even get Christmas posted... but I'm meandering in my post now. Where was I?

Oh yeah, Canada. Family. Visit. I guess I don't have a whole lot more to say on this subject. It's going to be a busy afternoon so I thought I'd get today's blathering over with. I'm up early on a Sunday because of this visit and I was told they were going to arrive at 11am. I get up and hop in the shower only to discover a note on the stairs when I get out informing me that they are not arriving until 1pm and that Ron's parents have gone to church. I'm gonna just let Ron sleep in a bit and wake him up in the next half an hour or so.

Tonight I hung out with Amanda and Shae while watching Dylan play baseball with his new little league team. Yeah, you read that right, NEW little league team. This is a good thing.

Anywho, now I have to whittle 400 shots of Dylan playing baseball down to say a dozen keepers.

Earlier today I went to go get a massage and I went out to discover I have a flat tire. My tires are often a little low because I need new rims and I am too cheap to buy them right now, well, I must have hit a new bump on the way home last night because this tire was dead flat. Looks like I'll be taking care of that problem sooner rather than later.

Not much else to tell tonight... Dylan's team lost, but he still had a great time playing.

I've been on a wicked indian food kick lately... and to add to it Ron made Naan the other day, FROM SCRATCH. Oh wait, I see I mentioned that a few posts ago... but did I mention it was FROM SCRATCH? It was damn yummy. We ate the last of it tonight.

Other than that, I got nuthin'.

Today was uneventful, and sometimes that's a good thing.
I have nothing else to say right now.

18th Baby On The Way!

The Duggar's are expecting thier 18th child on New Years Day. At what point do they just start falling out of her? And how the hell can they afford to feed all those people? Don't tell me that God provides... And just how much attention is each child getting from their parents? At what point do you start running your household like a school? Doesn't sound like a nice family life to me.

Hey, if they are happy and fed all the power to them. Who knows, maybe one of them will grow up to cure cancer... or become a serial killer because mommy didn't love them enough. Who knows?

Let the Party Begin!

We ended up skipping roller derby this evening. No one seemed particularly interested in joining us anyway... the last bout of the season is in June if anyone is interested, then Providence Roller Derby starts it's season.

We ended up at Ron's cousin Keith's 50th birthday party today. We were told it started at 1pm. The party didn't actually start until 4pm. Oops. From now on when dealing with family gatherings we will contact the host/hostess directly for correct information.

The highlight of the party was that Keith's wife Jenny hired a belly dancer. Keith's reaction was absolutely hilarious! Did you know that belly dancers make $20 per minute? Or at least this one did... *shakes head* I took a ton of pictures which will be posted someday.

Which reminds me... I've always wanted to take a belly dance class. I love the dance, the music and it might just get me to actually exercise and help strengthen my back. Hmmm... now that I am out of school I should look into that.

In other news, Keith's middle son Chris is getting his first tattoo this week. He happens to be going to the studio Ali's cousin works in. My world just gets smaller and smaller every freakin' day. Ali's cousin isn't doing the tattoo, but it's still a weird coincidence. Check out their site HERE. And speaking of tattoo's... that's another thing I've been meaning to get around to doing... maybe this summer.

Yup, went to a sex toy party this evening and spent some money. It was fun and will likely continue to be fun for quite some time. Probably way more than y'all need to know about me.

I just came from the dentist and "Gee Mister, my teeth feel cleaner!"
You remember that public service spot, right? Anyone with me there? C'mon! It was on all the time during afternoon cartoons on channel 56. Anyone? Bueller?

Okay, Maybe I'm alone on that one.

I also just mailed in a check to the credit card company with three zero's on it. That felt good. That debt is about 90% washed away in one fell swoop. My new camera is really mine now! Really!

Now to take my squeeky clean teeth and get my ass to work so I can pay off the remaining credit card balance and other things.

Ron and I make the same disgusting jokes in our heads about ad's on TV only tonight he didn't voice one for fear of weirding me out. I hold no such fear and blurted out someting about giving a blow job though a trachiotomy and he told me he loved me. Isn't that sweet?
