Fun at Home Depot

Ron and I have spent a lot of time in Home Depot during our vacation and today we had to run over again for "just a few more things". We were there for over an hour and a half. After about 20 minutes or so we get a little silly and start embarrassing ourselves. We do the same thing in supermarkets.

We spent some quality time walking up and down the aisles discussing future ideas for things to do to the house. Because of a recent incident involving our toilet overflowing and us not noticing for at least 45 minutes we have decided to push redoing the half bathroom a little higher up the priority list. While walking through the sink and vanity aisle Ron asks me how I like this little number:

And I said "It's not bad, but have you ever seen a pregnant woman stuffed into a pair of maternity jeans? Y'know, with that hideous panel at the top? It kind of reminds me of that."

And it was at this point Ron started laughing so hard I thought he was going to wet himself. He had to hunch over the handle of the cart he was laughing so hard.

A little later on we came upon an aisle where there were about a half a dozen buckets laid out to catch water dripping from the ceiling and I said rather loudly, "Gee, if only there were a place you could go to buy something to fix that."

And finally at the register I said "Do you think we'll get out of here for under $100.00?" and Ron said "Nah..." but we did! We only spent $99.20! HA!
