Sneakers

I've been on a quest for new sneakers for the last year or so. Everywhere I go all they have are sneakers with ALOT going on on them. Why is that? Why can't I find a pair of sneakers that are less than three colors, mostly black without looking like orthopedic shoes and don't have all kinds of stripes, patterns, straps and accents on them? Some sneakers look as if you're wearing a brick on your foot padded with Fruit Stripe gum.

Well I just stumbled upon these beauties...

Aren't they nice?
They're simple, almost elegant... a tad on the orthopedic side but this is essentially what I am looking for. And they're $250 and made of horsehair. Yes... horsehair.

*sigh* Why do I have such expensive taste?
