Let the Party Begin!

We ended up skipping roller derby this evening. No one seemed particularly interested in joining us anyway... the last bout of the season is in June if anyone is interested, then Providence Roller Derby starts it's season.

We ended up at Ron's cousin Keith's 50th birthday party today. We were told it started at 1pm. The party didn't actually start until 4pm. Oops. From now on when dealing with family gatherings we will contact the host/hostess directly for correct information.

The highlight of the party was that Keith's wife Jenny hired a belly dancer. Keith's reaction was absolutely hilarious! Did you know that belly dancers make $20 per minute? Or at least this one did... *shakes head* I took a ton of pictures which will be posted someday.

Which reminds me... I've always wanted to take a belly dance class. I love the dance, the music and it might just get me to actually exercise and help strengthen my back. Hmmm... now that I am out of school I should look into that.

In other news, Keith's middle son Chris is getting his first tattoo this week. He happens to be going to the studio Ali's cousin works in. My world just gets smaller and smaller every freakin' day. Ali's cousin isn't doing the tattoo, but it's still a weird coincidence. Check out their site HERE.
