Holy Fucking Bruins Batman!
We have just arrived home only to discover that the Bruins have made it to game 7! HOLY FUCKING CRAP! Sounds like we missed some good hockey! Weel, the game starts in 20 minutes... just enough time to take a shower and start dinner.
I'll write about extreme intestinal distress and our speeding ticket later.

sad about the Bruins :(
allentown is about 20 - 25 minutes from our house in PA - just head north on 476 to the lehighton exit and about 3 minutes off the exit is our house. if we had hot water and/or a kitchen, you would have been more than welcome to save $$ and stay there. running toilet, tv, phone, and a roof over your head is about all it has now (well...add a good wine cellar slightly stocked).
Hope you enjoyed the trip. Wish we would have been down there. Normally I would have been this past weekend..but I have been redoing the bathroom in MA. :( Ugh.
Hope to drop in on you soon for a saturday and catch up a little.
always having fun,
:)

add to that the neighbor in PA has worked for Martin Guitar for like 10 - 20 years or something, and you probably could have had a great tour of that place. :( sorry.
Maybe next trip? P.s., for the next trip south, look up NJ weirdness:

etc...
NJ is whacky with cities all around (philly/NYC/altantic city/newark/etc..) - but with tons of rural and historic spots. The dicotomy is weird and leads to many oddities. Tunnels dug out with nothing in them, abandoned towns with no reason, etc.. especially the western side of NJ next to PA in the mountains. there is nothing out there with just a 30 min drive from NYC...just weird and creepy.
