Yesterday was the anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger Accident. Do you remember where you were when you heard the news?

I was in a waiting room at Children's Hospital waiting to be seen by a doctor, as I often was at that time. I was upset that I was going to miss watching the lift-off in science class that day. It was going to be a special treat. Instead I got to watch it on a waiting room TV. So much for a special treat.

Ron was actually in Florida at the time watching it live and you can read his experience HERE.

I was in english class at Farley Middle School(now MassBay Community College) when they made an announcement over the P.A. system. I was sad because I was kinda excited that a teacher was going into space.
Fast forward years later when I went to MassBay for classes, I was in the same classroom where I first received the news. If I remember correctly, my sisters watched it on tv at school.
