Paul R. Bazillion
FRAMINGHAM - Paul R. Bazillion, 68, of Framingham, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.


Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Cormier) Bazillion, and was a Framingham resident for 24 years, formerly living in Littleton.

He was a maintenance engineer at the former General Motors Assembly Plant in Framingham for 27 years, retiring in 1991, and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.


He loved to travel, especially to Foxwoods, was an avid Red Sox fan, and talked politics as a diehard Democrat. He enjoyed being with people and was helpful to many as a great listener.
He leaves one son, Butch Bazillion and his wife, Leatha, of Shirley; four daughters, Leisha Lawlor and her husband, John, of Reading, Jeanna Bazillion of Rockport, Laurie Grant of Waterboro, Maine, Carrie-Lyn Woodsum and her husband, Thomas, of Framingham; two brothers, Ronald Bazillion of Minnesota, Walter Bazillion of Amesbury; one sister, Theresa Durden of Joplin, Mo.; 17 grandchildren, Amy, Cory, Melissa, Stephen, Christina, Dougie, Eddie, Connor, Kurtis, Kylaura, Keegan, Kennedy, Skyler, Katie, Melanie, Jack, and Jessica; several nieces and nephews; and his traveling companions Sue Welsh of Framingham and Yvette Ortiz of New York.


Visiting hours are Monday, Nov. 19, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common.

Burial will be private.

Instead of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline, MA 02445.
