Pain
As most of you know I have been plagued for a very long time by back pain. Sometime it goes away for months only to rear it's ugly head at the worst time, sometimes it's a constant dull ache telling me that yes, it is still there and isn't going away. Sometimes the dull ache is there so long I forget what it feels like ot not be in pain. And then it stays around so long you think, well, if this is as bad as it gets, I can deal with this.
And then one fine day you are doing a rather simple and normal activity, such as shaving your legs, and SPROING! Something in your back shifts and the dull pain you had made friends with leaves you with a sharp, stabbing, take your breath away pain that leaves you in tears.
It's always something simple that does it in the end. Once it was opening the trunk of my car, another time it was turning in a swivel chair. Goddess forbid I actually turn my body in a chair that was designed to turn! Sunday I got halfway through shaving my second leg when stabby-stabby hit me. So now I am in alot of pain and my legs are only 75% shaved. Pretty, eh?
I can't take much more of this.

Tell Ron to finish the leg and get that back of yours x-ray/MRI. This has gone on too long not to find out what is really happening.
Have you tried a chiropractor? I used to have a bad back, and after a few adjustments, (knock on wood), it's much better. Has been for years.
She actually tried a chiropractor earlier this year. Our insurance would only cover a certain number of visits per year. When the time was up, she didn't feel any better (and some days worse) so we didn't think it wise to spend the money out-of-pocket for each visit when it didn't seem to be effective.
