Reflections on Scottish Weather & Bugs

You know what I miss about Scotland?
The weather.

The weather was perfect there... and no bugs. Actually, there were bugs, but none that bothered anyone. They didn't buzz in your ear, threaten to sting or hover annoyingly. Even the bees were polite. They would hover near you momentarily as if to say, "Oh, pardon me" then fly on around you as if to say "cheerio!" The bees here are so damn aggressive. Like New Yorker bees or something.

The bugs were so not a problem over there that there were no screens on any hotel room windows. And the weather.... the temperature was PERFECT for us! When it did rain it wasn't the hot, steamy humidity laden weather event it is here.

I can't wait for Fall.
