For your enjoyment

I have discovered a few new things that I would like to share. First of all, I have discovered a new author, Laurie Notaro. Actually, Carrie discovered her and passed her on to me and now I am telling the world! Her books are hilariously funny and ladies, let me tell you, there is an idiot girl in all of us. Most of her books are collections of essays, perfect for those of us who read in the bathroom or just want a short something-something to make us smile before bed. I want to start my own chapter of the Idiot GIrls Action Adventure Club... I wish she had a blog, but then, if I could read her blog for free I wouldn't need to buy her books now would I? The old why buy the cow when you're giving away the milk for free thing... I think some of you writer types out there should give her a try as well.

The other thing I'd like to share is the Skull-a-Day website. This is silly fun and art inspiring. I wish I had thought of this myself... yeah, like I need more to do?
