When I fuck up, I fuck up good
Boy oh boy... when I find a flaw in a computer system or program I managed to find away to exploit this flaw to it's fullest. You see, the program I use to sort photos seems to have one major flaw. It will allow you to send anything to the recycling bin no matter how enormously huge it is and it doesn't ask you if you are sure you want to do this. I was overtired and thought I had selected a different folder.
I didn't panic because I figured I could just undue it or go to the recycling bin and just restore it. But wait! Where did it go? It wasn't there. *poof* It was gone, just like that.
To make a long story short I have lost most of what I shot in the month of March. And it was purely due to pilot error on my part. Fortunately I was backed up to the end of February and had all of April in two places, but poor March slipped through the cracks and now it's mostly gone. Ron, goddess bless him, manged to salvage about 15% of it and it's all in need of resorting.
I have learned many important lessons form this.
- BACKUP. BACKUP. BACKUP.
- NEVER do important stuff when you are exhausted.
- Never engage in a land war in Asia.
I am a dumbass and I know it and I don't want to hear it from y'all alter.
Now to go get ready for a wedding reception that was 35 years in the making.

Wow, you are good
Wow - I didn't believe it would happen (Judy & John, not the recycle bin/black hole)! Was the reception fun?
I hate norton's antivirus.
That being said, the go-back feature is awful useful...sometimes.
Now....if there were just a way to extract those files from your head..... :)
My heart fell when I read March is all but gone.
