I'm the crazy Aunt that won't go away

I have just stumbled upon a great blog that may interest some of you mommies out there: Suburban Bliss. Of particular interest are her views on drinking and motherhood. While I am not a mother I believe I understand the stress of motherhood, and being the oldest of 6 children, the youngest of which is 16 years younger than me, I like to think I have a fairly good grasp on what motherhood entails. I also realize I probably just abused the hell out of those commas... sue me.

Anywho... yes, motherhood is stressful, often thankless work. WORK. W-O-R-K. I think a drink every now and again is fine, if not necessary. I understand the difference between drinking and getting drunk. I agree completely with
Ms. Summers and when and if I ever become a mom I will not be giving up the Jagermeister just because Bitch Jr. is watching.

Amen and a halla-loo for the sane people in this world. I like to celebrate them when I find them. I raise my glass to you
Ms. Summers! Cheers!

That is why I don't watch morning TV (besides the fact I have no time) or most "talk show/info show" programs, because they seem to want to change everyone to be something different, guilt you for not being the "ideal" of the moment. I booked marked this site to be able to read it some more.
