This weeks Artist of The Week is You!
Yes, YOU! Or Me! Or your mother! Or that dude in the corner!
No, this isn't some lame ass cop-out because I don't have an artist for today... this is a post that has been brewing in my head for a while now. This weeks featured artist is the artist in all of us.
And don't give any of that "I'm not creative" crap. If you have ever sung in the shower, decorated a room, chosen one shirt over another to represent how you are feeling today or otherwise put something out into the world that someone else can see, hear, touch or enjoy or be annoyed by, then damnit, you are an artist.
If you have ever written anything, doodled while on the phone, planted something, baked a cake or put a Halloween costume together then my friend, YOU are an artist!
Now get out there and flaunt your artist status and have some fun!

This pass week I have made Pork Chops with an Apple Cider reduction :) Garlic and Chive Mashed Potatoes (Fresh not instant, with fresh herbs). Baby Spinach salad with a homemade vinaigrette. Chicken Breast stuffed with a Ricotta, Spinach and Sundried Tomato. Stuffed shells with a homade tomato sauce. Yes I can cook those things, I can make my own sauce, cut my own vegetables. And I can still play the angry rock and roll and scorch my vocal chords!
I also have written a few new songs over the last couple of weeks.
Oh and ladies I do my own laundry and clean the bathroom. And yes I put the seat down!
Alison is one lucky hot nurse! Wooot!
