6/6/06
Happy 666 Day! Yesterday, Ron posted about God, so today I thought I would share a few interesting tidbits about this devilish day.
Did you know that the fear of the number 666 is called hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia? And Ronald and Nancy Reagan were thought to have suffered from it? Now have a shot of Jagermeister and try to spell that.
Hell, Michigan (Population 70) is planning a hell of a day today with parties, t-shirts... you can even buy a deed to a 1 inch plot of land in Hell for, you guessed it, $6.66.
Many bands have albums coming out today. Slayer is releaseing a new track today on iTunes at 6:06 am (I want to know what Slayer fan is awake at 6:06 am.) and they have a special shirt to honor this day. Check THIS SITE out to see how you, yes you my friend, can participate in the National Day of Slayer. Poor Deicide didn't get their act together in time though, so they will be missing out on this evil marketing ploy.
Even David Lee Roth has a new album out today called Strumming with The Devil, though he denies any relation between the album title and the date. Some see the release of this album as a sign that VanHalen is getting back together and if that is the case, then goddess help us all! The film industry is all over this bandwagon as well with the opening of a remake of The Omen today.
Today is also National Emo Kid Beatdown Day. Further proof that I am a bad person, because it made me laugh. I don't condone violence, but I have been known to want to kick a few of these kids myself.
Some folks think today is a good day to get married:
Marketing executive Low Hong Ling, 28, was quoted by The Star as saying over the weekend that it was a special and practical date to be married. "It is very special because the particular sequence only happens once in a lifetime. Also, the date is easy to remember so we will never miss our anniversary," she said. Full Article HERE.
For those of you who a little concerned about this day or the state of your souls in general can join in a 24 hour prayer marathon or go to RaptureReady.com. There's even a section for those of us who will be left behind and THIS little tidbit is pure entertainment. Just feel like praying? Try THIS. Some folks believe if you pray hard enough it will even lower gas prices! Is God not great and merciful indeed! (I am so going to hell.) And becasue I can't stop stumbling on these religious websites, HERE is another one for you... scroll down the the part that says "If you just now prayed this prayer - Click Here." and click it.
Sorry about the religion tangent... it's just too easy to resist. THIS pretty much sums up how I feel about the whole religion thing, and the human race in general. Check THIS out if you want to see what The Church of Satan has to say about this day. (scroll down a wee bit once there)
I would love to hear any stories from people who had strange, unusual or scary things happen to them today! Anyone got a birthday today? Anyone buy and album today? Get a hangnail? See Satan? Drop a comment and share!
Have a good one y'all!

I got stuck in traffic on my way to the hospital for my own birth. I had a nice baby all picked out so I could be reborn and unleash my fury upon the world. But NO! I had to possess someone with one of those damn Hybrid cars, fucking dirty hippies!!!!!!
I blame myself really, I do like traffic jams, and all the smog and cancer causing chemicals they produce, the stress they cause, the accidents, mmmmmmm... ahhh good times.
At least I can sit back and laugh at all the god fearing religious nuts who think they can see Jesus on a wall or a piece of toast, heheheheheh dumb asses!
Not too mention all the chaos this Davinci Code caused. Seriously humans, buy a fucking vowel and get a grip! It's fiction! Everybody down here knows the truth, Jesus and I laugh about it all the time during Poker night with Elvis and Captain Kangaroo.
Oh and tell Tom Cruise he isn't fooling anyone, we know who the real daddy is.
See you in HELL!!!!!
If you rearrange the letters in Satan you get Staan.
STAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!
Heheheheheh
I watched Drop Dead Fred with Alison this morning, I would say that counts as scary, but who wouldn't want to give Phoebe Cates a pickle tickle back in the day! I know I did, now that's scary...
Muhwahahahahahahahaha.....burp.
