A Pretty Good Weekend!
I had to work yesterday, but nothing tragic or eventful happened, then I made the Worlds Best Hamburgers for dinner and we watched Mirror Mask. What a great movie! I loved it!
Spent this afternoon cleaning my "desk area" in the studio. I say "desk area" because the mess had spilled out onto almost every available surface I was able to pile shit on and then onto the floor. A pile here, a pile there... I must admit, I had a bad case of piles.
But the piles are gone! They have been reduced to one small pile of crap I've been meaning to finish up for a while, as well as some LONG overdue Nervousness projects. My desk is gloriously neat and ready for me to get crackin' on stuff before school starts. Which reminds me...
If I owe you ANYTHING, said I would fix something, make something or otherwise do something for you and I haven't done it yet, NOW is the time to speak up. I have a list of shit to do and I am doing my darndest to get it done before school starts at the end of May. I know I won't succeed in getting it all done, but I will try my best. Just leave a comment or shoot me an email nudge (or slap) and I will try to set things straight.
Things I do not need reminding of and are already on the list are:
- Jack's Baby Quilt
- Baby Pictures for Mom
- Chips Necklace
- Nervousness projects
- Sorting Negatives

I think that you said that you would copy some Tori Amos CD's for me...
I think you missed the innuendo about the quilting...
Um... I don't think I'll be combining drinking and quilting again... the last time I did required me to pick out several hours worth of stitches.
Also, perhaps I am getting old, but the excessive drinking is getting, well, old. But that's another story...
o.k., I thought by now that necklace would have been lost :) I can't believe you still have that on the list.
I must say again how psyched I am that this is my last week of work and how much I miss all of you and will be dropping in on you all and throwing little get togethers at our place.
I can't wait for the beautiful summer to begin.

The new direstor is great so far! He actually gets shit done! Like this afternoon those stairwells got painted!
Things are well. We are planning a short road trip in May and would appreciate any advice from experienced travelers like yourself.
