What's that Smell?
Can you dream smells?
I think I did last night. I woke up in the middle of the night with the stench of some hideous cologne in my nostrils. It was so bad I could taste it. I got up to pee and I could still smell it and I couldn't get back to sleep until it faded. Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I Have. From time to time I dream about a smell that is too horrible to even mention here. Terrible. Must be past life memories.
no big smells in my dreams, but I have woken up falling onto my bed...which was freaky because I was falling in my dream and hit the ground which is when I woke up and fell onto my bed. I would not have believed it myself, but a friend was staying over and sleeping on the bed next to mine and said he woke up to see me falling onto the bed - horizontal - like the levitating hypnotist thing, from about a foot up.
The best I can think is in my sleep I tensed up really fast which "bounced" me up into the air? At least, this is the conclusion i have been most comfortable with since it happened many years ago. I have stopped dreaming since college...I turned that off for a while 'till I can get my day life more in order.
dreams are way freaky sometimes and can take too much daytime dealing with to be wirth it.
I don't recall very strong smells in my dreams. Touch, sight, sounds, especially colors, those are very vivid.
Except the smell of death. But it's not like a smell, it's a feeling/memory/emotion thing. I've had that smell in my dreams a few times.
If you know it, you know what I mean. If you don't, I just can't explain it to you.
