A Busy, Busy Week!

What the hell have I been up to all week? Why haven't I posted? Where have I been? Well, here you go!

Did you miss me? I have been busy... I have been taking a Photoshop class on Wednesday nights, which after working Monday and Tuesday nights leaves me pretty fucking tired... so I didn't post then. My last class is this week.

For those of you who haven't heard, there was a fire in Kenny & Carol's apartment building. No one got hurt, but as you can imagine everything smells like smoke and melted plastic. I wonder if their cat, Ginger, has forgiven her for unceremoniously shoving her into a carrier and being rushed out the door when the alarm went off. We went over to check on them Thursday night, so no posts from me that night. Buy Carol a drink and she'll tell you about it.

Friday night I went shopping with my mom and my sister for Amanda's bridal shower gifts. We went in on it to save money, and I had a coupon! Woo-hooo! Coupons! I got home late, pulled something resembling dinner out of my ass and then it was off to a hot date with a heating pad on my cramp-filled guts. Be glad I didn't post that night!

Saturday I spent the day doing something special with my husband. One of these days I will tell you about it, but for now, it's my little secret.

Saturday evening we went over to Carrie & Tom's house so the boys could play. Taki stopped by and joined in... One of these Saturday evenings we'll have to go kidnap Kelley, or maybe meet her somewhere. Stan hasn't been coming because he's been busy with school. Hey Stan! Hey Ali! Hey Kelley! We miss you guys! Pictures from the evening will be posted soon, but we got home too late to post anything.

Sunday we went to visit Cal and his new girlfriend Kara at their new apartment. Cal just spent three weeks in the hospital after falling from his third floor front porch while moving into his new apartment. Cal is doing surprisingly well... he didn't break any bones! He had a bruised heart and two collapsed lungs though and he still has some pain from being sliced open from throat to navel and having his sternum broken to get at his lungs. *shudders* His new nickname is Spiderman.

Kara and Cal seem to suit each other very well and they make each other happy. Cal's daughter Josie and Kara's daughter Gwen seem to get along pretty well... until someones doll goes missing that is! Ahh... little girls! They are both adorable though. The four of them make a good looking family. We got home way too late to post anything then too...

This morning I was all set to get up, throw in a load of laundry and start editing photos, posting stuff, balance my checkbook and be all kinds of constructuve but alas no... The electricians showed up to re-attached the meter to the house and repair the wiring damaged by the tree that fell over two weeks ago. They cut the power about 5 minutes after I woke up. Grrr... I did managed to get caught up on the checkbook though... aren't you proud of me?

So, there you have it... a busy, busy week. Admit it... y'all missed me, right?
